Ruby A. Wrenn, 85, died May 21, 1998. 
Born in Princess Anne County, Va., she was high school valedictorian and attended college for one year. She was a retired homemaker, a member of St. Christophers Episcopal Church, Portsmouth, and a past member of Cedar Point Country Club and Laurel Garden Club.
  She was predeceased by her husband George T. Wrenn, Jr., and her parents, Josephine Sykes Ackiss and Paul W. Ackiss.
  Survivors include a daughter, Tanya Sue Wrenn of Royal Oak, Mich.; a son Paul M. Wrenn, of Farmington Hills; a sister, Page A. Lobeck, of Virginia Beach; a grandson, Eric T. Wrenn; and Melanie S. Burroughs, of San Francisco, Calif.
  A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Christophers Episcopal Church by the Rev. Jane Flaherty. Burial will be in Meadowbrook memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel. Donations may be sent to the Ruby A. Wrenn Memorial Fund at St. Christophers Episcopal Church.
