Obituary of The Rev. Henry Eugene Arrington HENRY E. ARRINGTON Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - October 17, 1998 The Rev. Henry Eugene Arrington, 65, pastor of Temple Hill Baptist Church and consultant for Montgomery Baptist Association, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 1998. He received his bachelor of arts from the University of Richmond, his bachelor of divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and doctor of theology from Andersonville Baptist Seminary. Rev. Arrington was the weekend chaplain for Washington Hospital Center and the on-call chaplain for Montgomery General Hospital. He headed the walking program at White Flint Mall for the Washington Hospital Center, was a clergy member on the Alcohol & Other Drug Abuse Advisory Council for Montgomery County, and was past president of Mended Hearts Chapter No. 94. He was also an insurance broker. He was the beloved husband of Patricia L. Arrington; father of Carla Arrington and H. Eugene Arrington Jr.; grandfather of Jessica and Paul; and brother of Charles Arrington, Tina Goodson, Inell Rutledge and Carolyn Clifford. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd., West, Silver Spring, Md., from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Kensington Baptist Church, 10100 Connecticut Ave., Kensington, Md.
