BOYKINS - Oretha Beaton Babb, 91, died July 6, 2001. She was the widow of Jack Riddick Babb and a member of Courtland Baptist Church. 
Survivors include two daughters, Betty B. Barnes and her husband, David, and Linda B. Carr and her husband, Bobby, all of Boykins; three grandchildren, Wayne T. Barnes and his wife, Ann, of Virginia Beach, Stephanie Meadows and her husband, John, of Boykins and Stacy Lyn Carr of Charlottesville; four great-grandchildren, Ryan, Dylan and Reagan Meadows and Kayce Barnes; and several nieces and nephews. 
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Beechwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Betty and David Barnes, 18119 Truman St., Boykins. Wright Funeral Home, Boykins, is in charge.
