Paul Thomas Babb, 58, died Oct. 31, 2001. Tommy was born in Suffolk and was formerly of Sebrell, Va., a son of the late Jane Turner and George Thomas Babb. He was predeceased by a brother, George Allen Babb. 

Survivors include three sisters, Rose B. Rose and husband J.L. of Walters, Va., Hilda B. Edwards and husband Marvin of Sunbeam, Va., and Emily B. Simms and husband Sidney of Ivor, Va.; and many nieces and nephews. 

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Wright Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ken Thames officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery , Courtland . The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and suggest that memorials be made to the American Heart Association, c/o Mrs. June Duck, 27351 Delaware Road, Franklin, VA 23851.
