Barbara Fay Barrett, 49, a lifelong resident of Wakefield, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002 at Waverly Healthcare Center. Ms. Barrett formerly worked for Pope's Grocery Store in Wakefield and for the Airfield 4-H Center. She was a former member of the Wakefield Women's Club, the Virginia Fox Hunters Association, and the Antioch Christian Church in Windsor . 

Barbara is survived by her parents, Maple T. Barrett and Fay B. Barrett of Wakefield; her sister, Dianna Sue Cash of Richmond; a brother, Maple T. Barrett, Jr. of Wakefield; and a grandmother, Gertrude Bland Barrett of Carrsville, V.A. 

Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Antioch Christian Church Cemetery, Windsor , with the Rev. Mark T. Habecker officiating. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Purviance Funeral Home in Wakefield.
