A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Walter and Bessie Francis Griffin and the widow of Robert Edward Baugham. She was a member of Boykins Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Betty B. Baker and her husband Charles "C.C." of Courtland; a son, Robert "Bobby" E. Baugham Jr. and his wife Margaret of Sedley; a sister, Mary G. Smith of Boykins; five grandchildren, Marilyn B. Tomasic of Durham, N.C., Betsy B. Finley of Chapel Hill, N.C., Robert "Bob" Baugham III of Franklin, Charles "Chuck" Baker III of Courtland and Michael Baugham of Sedley; and five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Robbie and Patrick Tomasic and Katie and Duncan Finley. Mrs. Baugham was predeceased by a brother, Algie Griffin. A graveside service will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, with the Rev. James Smith officiating.
