George Arthur Baugham, 81, of Route 1, a retired farmer, died April 23, 1992, in a Franklin nursing home. 

Mr. Baugham was born in Southampton County. He was a member of Newsoms Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Mazie Arthur Baugham; two daughters, Mildred B. Arrington of Windsor and Linda B. Griffin of Newsoms ; a sister, Nettie B. Pulley of Boykins; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hollywood Cemetery by the Rev. Kenneth Williams. Friends may join the family at the residence. McDowell Funeral Home, Boykins, is handling arrangements.
