††Survivors include two step-daughters, Sarah Caroline Pond of Suffolk and Frances Pond Davis of Richmond; a step-son, Charles Bailey Pond, III, of Suffolk; a sister, Edith Buttafoco of Suffolk; a niece, Karen Byrum of Suffolk; a nephew, A.C. Volper, III of Houston, Texas.
††A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Holly Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Don Hammond. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday in the R.W. Baker & Co.
