Johnny Lee Berry, 57, died Sept. 25, 1999. He was a Baptist and a longtime friend of the local VFW. 

Survivors include his wife, Ann Berry; his mother, Avis Berry; five stepchildren; and many friends. 

A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Holland-Rideout Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Louis Venable. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park . The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Floral arrangement orders may be placed at the Holland-Rideout Funeral Home, 1001 Armory Drive.
