Obituary of BEVERLY LONG HOLLADAY, JR. Virginian Pilot, 09-05-1994 SUFFOLK - Beverly Long Holladay, Jr., 58, of 521 N. Broad St., died Sept. 30, 1994. A native of Norfolk, he was the son of Dr. Beverly L. Holladay and the late Ethel Hunter Holladay. Mr. Holladay was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and was an Eagle Scout. He was a graduate of Suffolk High School and Hampden-Sydney College, class of 1958 and he attended the Medical College of Virginia. He was a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity. He was a former manager of the Suffolk swimming pool, where he served as swimming instructor and lifeguard. Other survivors include a sister, Elise H. "Pat" Smith of Richmond; two brothers Robert Hunter Holladay of Aiken, S.C. and John Seabrook Holladay of Suffolk; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday at 2 P.M. in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. H. Vance Mann, III. The family will be at the residence.
