Barbara Birdsong Turner, 68, died Jan. 24, 2001. Survivors include her husband, Reuben L. Turner; five children, Anne Shaw, Lana Turner, Barbara Dean Davis, Kaye Pope and Bobby L. Turner; three sisters and a brother; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses near Garysburg. Burial will follow at Beechwood Cemetery in Boykins, Va. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Massey Funeral Home, Jackson.
