MINNIE MARTIN BOLTON

Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, September 13, 2002 

Minnie Martin Bolton, 85, a former resident of Boykins, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002. 

Born in Tillery, N.C., she was the daughter of the late David and Emily Hyman Martin and the widow of Hersey Albert Bolton Jr. She was a retired weaver for Narricot Industries and a member of Severn Baptist Church. 

Survivors include a daughter, Paige B. Williams and her husband, Tommy, of Severn; a sister, Mary Wilson of Stony Creek, Va.; a brother, Joe Martin and his wife, Adelle, of Louisville, Ky.; two grandsons, Thomas Heath Williams and his wife, Deana, and Jason Albert Williams, all of Severn. Mrs. Bolton was predeceased by a son, John Albert "Johnny" Bolton. 

A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Severn Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Smoak officiating. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery in Boykins, Va. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Wright Funeral Home, Boykins Chapel, and request memorials be made to Severn Baptist Church, P.O. Box 502, Severn, NC 27877.
