SYLVIA FAYE BAKER BOOKER

WINDSOR - Sylvia Faye Booker, 67, passed away Oct. 9, 1004, following a
recent bettle with melanoma cancer. She was a faithful member of the
Suffolk Church of Christ. Faye was a very loving and well-loved person.
Survivors include her loving husband and best friend of 44 years, E.
Read Booker; son, Paul Kevin Booker and wife Lisa of Chesapeake; two
grandsons, Brandon and Zachary Booker; sisters, June Beach (Bill), Ruth
Webber (Johnny Willis), Geraldine Miller (Tom), Jackie Holt (Johnny), of
Suffolk, Mary Rose Wilson (Quincy) of Charleston, S.C., Norma Jennings
(Felix) of Chesapeake; brothers, Gary Baker (Phyllis), Doug Baker
(Romona) of Suffolk, Kenneth Baker (Dorothy) of Sunbury, N.C.; numerous
well-loved nieces, nephews and many loving friends.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Suffolk Church of Christ,
2025 Holland Road by the REv. Dennis (Skip) Frances with visitation one
hour prior. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Route 258,
Walters, Va.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be
made to the American Cancer Society, 604 Constance Woods Drive, Suffolk,
Va. 23434 or to the Windsor Rescue Squad.
Harrell and Hill Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Suffolk, is
serving the family.
