Lucille P. Bowers of the 1700 block of Blair Ave. died Sept. 13, 1999. 

She was born in Southampton, Va., to the late Tom and Cora Parker, and was the widow of Fleetwood Bowers. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Lamberts Point. 

Survivors include two daughters, Cora Todd and her husband, John Todd, Liza Smith and her husband, Roosevelt Smith; a son, Edward Parker; a grandchild, John Todd Jr. and his wife, Anita Todd; a great-grandchild, Victoria Todd; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday at First Baptist Church, Lamberts Point, by the Rev. Anthony Paige. Burial will be in Ivor Cemetery . The family will receive friends at the residence. Viewing will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday at Riddick Funeral Service. A wake will be held at the church from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday.
