Bradshaw, 81, died Saturday, March 20, 2004, at Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Southampton County, he was a son of the late Lee and Myra Pond Bradshaw. He was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church and a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Lillie Turner Bradshaw; two daughters, Irene Raiford and husband Ed and Jean Stephenson; two sons, Alvin Bradshaw and wife Brenda and Larry Bradshaw; four sisters, Gladys Holt, Doris Stephenson, Catherine Lowe and Viola Clark; eight grandchildren, Beth Pulley, Kenneth Raiford, Pam Talley, Tina Bradshaw, Douglas Bradshaw, Christy Vick, Angie Bradshaw and Brandi Ellis; five great-grandchildren, Jordan Pulley, Michaela Pulley, Chelsea Vick, Brandon Raiford, and Wyatt Raiford. Mr. Bradshaw was predeceased by four sisters, Virgie Wade, Mary Parker, Martha Bradshaw and Lillie Bradshaw; and four brothers, Alvin, George, Clinton and Reginald Bradshaw. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Black Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Kitts and the Rev. Willis Switzer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
