SUFFOLK - Emma Johnson Bradshaw, 79, died Oct. 21, 2002. 
Born April 14, 1923, in Nansemond County, she was the daughter of the late Lewis R. and Gertrude Costen Johnson and the widow of Ellis N. Bradshaw. Mrs. Bradshaw was a member of West End Baptist Church. 
Survivors include her sister, Marion Dixon of Suffolk and several nieces and nephews. 
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. T. Floyd Irby Jr. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at her sister's home, 1377 Wilroy Road. 
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 604 Constance Woods Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434 or to the West End Baptist Church, Memorial Fund, 105 St. James Ave., Suffolk, VA 23434.
