Mrs. Bradshaw was born in Chowan County, N.C., a daughter of the late Kader Richard and Candace Perry Bass. She was the widow of Walter Linwood Bradshaw Jr. She was a member of the Franklin Congregational Christian Church and was an avid bridge player. Survivors include a daughter, Linda B. Cobb and her husband, Cotton, of Cincinnati, Ohio; a son, Walter L. "Brad" Bradshaw III and his wife, Cheryl, of Franklin; a sister, Doris B. Hennaman of Providence Forge, Va.; a brother, Edward L. Bass of Courtland; three grandchildren, Lyn Cobb and Jennifer Brenner of Cincinnati, Walter L. Bradshaw IV of Franklin; a step-grandchild, William Blake Whitehead of Sedley; and two great-grandchildren, Brittany Sue and Zachary Linwood Cobb. A graveside funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Poplar Spring Cemetery by the Rev. Lafayette Wilkins. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Wright Funeral Home.
