Mildred Bradshaw Harcum, 87, died Oct. 28, 1999, in Southampton Memorial Hospital. 

She was the daughter of the late Joel Clinton Bradshaw Sr. and Mamie Duck Bradshaw. She was predeceased by her husband, Timothy Guy Harcum Sr.; a sister, Annie Virginia Owens; and a brother, Joel C. Bradshaw Jr. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and the Franklin Moose Lodge. 

She is survived by a son, Milton S. Harcum of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; a stepson, T.G. Harcum Jr. of Franklin; a sister-in-law, Hazel Bradshaw; and many nephews. 

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Southampton Memorial Park by Dr. Richard Peerey. Friends may join the family at the home of Hazel Bradshaw immediately following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Carrsville Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box, Carrsville VA 23315. Holland-Rideout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
