Born in Suffolk, she was the daughter of Robert Everette and Huldah Ann Parker Hazelette and the widow of Thomas Holt Brantley. She was a homemaker and member of Ivor United Methodist Church. Mrs. Brantley is survived by a son, Robert Joseph Owens and his wife, Rebecca Cornwell Owens of Ivor; a brother, Edward Parker Hazelette and his wife, Peggy O'Neal Hazelette of Suffolk; grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn Owens, Robert Neil Owens and Wendy Owens Bass; and one great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Leigh Bass. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Purviance Funeral Home Chapel, Wakefield, with the Rev. C. Randolph Duncan and the Rev. Steve Bradshaw officiating. Interment will be in Ivor Cemetery .
