 Addie Marie Brinkley, 81, died Feb. 5, 2001. 
She was a native of Nansemond County, Va., and retired after 30 years of service with the Suffolk public school systems as a food service worker. She was a member of Berea Congregational Christian Church of the United Church of Christ, Ladies Bible Class, and Berea Women's Fellowship Circle. She was the daughter of the late Edward H. Brinkley Sr. and Addie Jones Brinkley. 
Survivors include a sister, Virginia B. Outlaw of Suffolk, and 16 nieces and nephews. 
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cypress Chapel Christian Church Cemetery by Dr. John R. Kimball. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to Berea Congregational Christian Church or to Cypress Chapel Christian Church.
