Lucile Stephenson Brinkley, 68, of Church Street, died July 15, 1992, in a Franklin hospital. 

Mrs. Brinkley was born in Capron. She was a member of Capron United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include her husband, Joe W. Brinkley; a daughter, Judy Brinkley of Hartford, Conn.; a son, Bob Brinkley of Richmond; and four grandchildren. 

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Capron United Methodist Church by the Rev. Louis Martin and the Rev. Durwood Vaughan. Burial will be in Capron Cemetery . McDowell Funeral Home, Boykins, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Capron Rescue Squad or to the church.
