Syble Britt Burgess, 71, of 428 Crescent Drive, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2002. 
   Born in Lumberton, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Cary and Gladys Kinlaw Britt, and the former wife of Hubert Burgess of Franklin. She was a retired licensed practical nurse. 
   She is survived by her three sons, Randy H. Burgess of Park City, Utah, Rudy B. Burgess of Richmond, and Ronnie R. Burgess of Franklin; a sister, Daphne B. Howell of Chuckatuck; two brothers, Russell Britt and Grady Britt, both of Franklin; six grandchildren, Stacy, Jeremy, Elise, Kayla, Josh and Jake Burgess, and her companion, David Hubbert. She was predeceased by a sister, Irma Wimberly. 
   A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Southampton Memorial Park , Franklin, with the Rev. J. Denise Smelley officiating. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin.
