Mr. Broadaway was born in Norfolk and graduated from Fork Union Military Academy. He was a member of Millfield Baptist Church in Ivor and the B & B Hunt Club. He was a Navy SEAL veteran of Vietnam and was employed with Virginia Power. He is survived by two daughters, Sheri Lynn Hogue of Virginia Beach and Heather Marie Broadaway of Poquoson; a son, Sean Thomas Broadaway of Poquoson; his mother, Millicent Nester Broadaway of Virginia Beach; his father, Tom R. Broadaway Sr. of Virginia Beach; and a sister, Susan B. Daleen of Virginia Beach. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Millfield Baptist Church Cemetery, Ivor, by the Rev. Mike Harrell and the Rev.
