SUFFOLK - James Wilbur Bunch, 63, of Whaleyville Blvd., died July 23,
2004. Born Nov. 14, 1940, in Gates Co., N.C., he was the son of the late
Lucy Belle Dail and James Elliott Bunch. He was preceded in death by his
wife, Virtley Knight Bunch. Mr. Bunch was a retired foreman in the
welding shop of Newport News Shipyard. He was a member of Liberty Spring
Christian Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Cindy Dundlow and husband, Ray; a son,
Chris Bunch and wife, Tisha; four grandchildren, Blake, Kimberly, Tommy
Ray and Kristina, all residing in Suffolk; three sisters, Mildred
Farless of Edenton, N.C., Rubie McClenny of Portsmouth and Mary Gardner
of Suffolk. A funeral will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday in Liberty Spring
Christian Church by the Rev. Dolan Talbert with burial in the church
cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday
in the R.W. Baker Funeral Home and Crematory.
