Virginia Ricketts Bunch, 79, of Shands Drive, died June 16, 1992, in a Franklin hospital.  
Mrs. Bunch was born in Portsmouth, where she was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She was the widow of Thomas Waverly Bunch.  
Survivors include two daughters, Gail B. Camp and Suzette B. Carpenito, both of Courtland; four sisters, Katherine Hall, Margaret Mason, Grace Jenkins and Charlotte Wilson, all of Portsmouth; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.  
The graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, by the Rev. James W. Browder III. McDowell Funeral Home, Boykins, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Courtland.
