 HOUSTON - Lewis Wayne Byrd, 47, former resident of Holland and former Forrest Glen High School teacher, died Saturday, Nov. 30. 
Mr. Holland was a member of the Holland Baptist Church. He graduated from Holland High School in 1964 and from Campbell College in 1969. 
Survived by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Byrd of Suffolk; and a brother, Stanley Byrd Jr. of Suffolk. 
Funeral at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Revs. Gil Daugherty and Thomas Wood. Burial in Holland Cemetery. Memorials to the Assistance Fund, 2476 Bolsover #455, Houston, Texas 77005.
