A lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County , McCawley was the son of the late Eugene McCawley and Mary Virginia Carr. He was a 1973 graduate of Windsor High School and a machine tender on the No. 1 paper machine at International Paper. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and a member of Colosse Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Brenda Wills Carr; two daughters, Kimberly Dianne Carr of Carrsville and her fiance Michael Phelps of Franklin and Pamela Carr Seebo and husband Louis of Windsor; and three grandsons, Luke, Ian and Andrew Seebo. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Webb and Rev. Rob Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home of Alice Wills, 11327 Old Suffolk Road, Windsor.
