Mason Louise Drewry Carr died Dec. 26, 1999, in Southampton Memorial Hospital. 

The widow of Charles E. Carr Jr., she was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and the Melvin Bradshaw Circle. She was retired from Isle of Wight County public schools. 

Survivors include two daughters, Rita Lou Carr of Franklin and Elizabeth Ann Carr of Richmond; two sisters, Virginia Drewry Carr and Florence Bland; and two brothers, Harry Drewry and Jesse Drewry. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary A. Gavin. 

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Holland Rideout Funeral Home, where a funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Dr. Allan Campbell at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow in Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery.
