He was the owner of Ronald E. Carr trucking and hauling, a contractor and farmer. He was a member of Colosse Baptist Church. Mr. Carr is survived by a loving and supportive wife of 38 years, Nancy Wood Carr. He had a caring, guiding and supportive bond with his three sons, Ronald Everette Carr Jr. and wife Nanette, Brian Keith Carr and wife Tammy, and Timothy Marvin Carr, all of Carrsville; his beloved grandchildren, Dustin Everette Carr, Victoria Winfield Carr and Anna Rebekah Carr; a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law; several dear nieces, nephews and cousins; and a very dear and special cousin, Nelson Carr. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Holland-Rideout Funeral Home, 1001 Armory Drive, Franklin. A funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home by the Rev. Howard Vinson Jr. Burial will follow at Colosse Baptist Church.
