   SUFFOLK  Mattie Lucille Carr Daughtrey, 80, of the 1200 block of Parker Drive, died Nov. 21 at Beth Sholom Home of Eastern Virginia. 
   Mrs. Daughtrey was the retired owner of South Quay Amoco, and was also assistant manager for Highs Ice cream in Suffolk. She was the daughter of the late Lennie Jep Carr and Lillie Mae Hines Carr. She was also predeceased by a son, James J. Daughtrey Jr.
   Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Duck Blackerby and William Thomas Blackerby of Hampton, Linda D. Williams and Dennis L. Williams of Courtland, Peggy D. and Donald S. Hobbs of Courtland and Selena D. and Mark Anderson of Huntingtown, Md.; grandchildren, Cindy Metz, Darlene Keyt, J.R. Duck, Ronald and Brad Johnson, Lori Vick, Paul and Brian Hobbs, Jamie and Cameron Daughtrey; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Nell White of Norfolk, Emma Virginia MV Griggs of Kingsland, Ga., Sara Carter of Franklin and Myrtle Ingvaldsen of Virginia Beach; and a brother, L.J. Carr, Jr. of Suffolk.
   A funeral service was to be held Nov. 24 at 11 a.m. in Harrell and Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. Tommy Speight. Interment was to follow in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the residence of Darlene and Thad Keyt, 1352 River Rd., Suffolk.
   Contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association, Hampton Roads Chapter #20 The Koger Center, Suite 233, Norfolk, Va. 23502.
