• Mrs. Boyd Carter Bradshaw, 86, of 115 Clearfield Drive, passed away Saturday morning at Halifax Memorial Hospital. 
She was retired from the Garment Industries and Hardee's Food Industries. She was a member of the Weldon Baptist Church and was born in Northhampton County, N.C. Her hobby was gardening. 
Funeral 2 p.m. Monday, October 20, 1997 at Weldon Baptist Church Weldon, conducted by Dr. Wayne Martin. A graveside service will follow at 4 p.m. in Newsome, Va. 
Surviving: daughters, Norma Britt Cathell and husband William of Dothan, Ala., Jane Bradshaw Bass of Raleigh; son, John Stanley Britt and wife Marjorie of Raleigh; Charles Bradshaw and wife, Martha of Benson; seven grandchildren; eight- great grandchildren; one sister, Ethel Futrell of Bath, N.C.; devoted friend, Betty Brown of Weldon.
