Anna Howell Caulder, 62, of Forest Pine Apts. died Dec. 31, 1993, in Southampton Memorial Hospital. 

Mrs. Caulder was born in Bladen Co., N.C., and was the daughter of the late Rufus and Rossie L. Howell. She was retired from Rose's Department Store and was a member of Hunterdale Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her husband: Edwin Caulder Sr.; one daughter: Emma C. Denson of Franklin; 3 sons: Edwin Caulder, Jr. of Tampa, Fl., Forrest Caulder of Franklin, and Ben Caulder of Grand Prairie, Texas. 3 sisters: Edith Jackson and Alma Lee Parker both of Clarkton, N.C., and Martha Harrellson of Elizabethtown, N.C., 5 brothers: Richard Howell, Charlie Howell, and David Howell, all of Clarkton, N.C., Jack Howell of Lexington, N.C., and Billy Howell of Dunn, N.C. 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. 

A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday Jan. 3, 1994, at Southampton Memorial Park by Rev. Howard Vinson. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home from 7-8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Franklin Fire and Rescue Squad.
