Thomas Colby Maddrey, 2 days old, infant son of Dennis and Emily Maddrey Jr. died Oct. 5, 1996, in Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters. 

Thomas is survived by his maternal grandparents, Tommy and Kay Pittman of Ivor and Wayne and Melissa Murphy of Elberon; maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack E. Atkins Jr. of Ivor and Mr. and Mrs. C.R. Murphy of Wakefield; a maternal great-great-grandmother, Mrs. C.C. Murphy of Wakefield; paternal grandparents, Dennis and Jane Maddrey of Ivor. 

A graveside funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Ivor Cemetery . Friends may call at the residences of Tommy Pittman, 8460 Rawls Drive, and Dennis Maddrey, 8361 Raboy Drive, both in Ivor. Memorial donations may be made to the Women's Care Center at Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk, or to the neo-natal unit at Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, Norfolk. Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, is in charge.
