Hubert W. Coggsdale, 46, of Railroad Avenue, a millwright, died April 5, 1992, in Franklin. 

Mr. Coggsdale was born in Southampton County and was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. He was formerly employed with Union Camp Corp. for 26 years. He had served in the National Guard for six years. 

Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Coggsdale; a son, Matthew Coggsdale; and his mother, Bertha H. Coggsdale, all of Franklin; four sisters, Doris Carr of Zuni, Annette Harrell and Evelyn Daughtrey, both of Suffolk, and Jean Vaughan of Franklin; and three brothers, J.W. Coggsdale Jr. of Courtland, Edward Coggsdale of Franklin and Shelton Coggsdale of Suffolk. 

The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Southampton Memorial Park by the Rev. Reginald Warren. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin.
