Obituary of E. Gregory Cook E. GREGORY COOK Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, March 17, 2003 SUFFOLK - E. Gregory Cook, 45, also known as "Cookie Man", of the 3300 block of Lake Prince Road, died March 16, 2003, in his residence. A native of Nansemond County, he was the son of the late Edwin Ray Cook and Marjorie Parker Cook. He worked in the Traffic Engineering Department with the Virginia Department of Transportation and was a member of Providence United Methodist Church. Survivors include sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda C. and Tommy Hoggard of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., Catherine W. Cook of Riner, Va., and Paige C. and Garry Dunlow of Zuni; two nieces, a nephew, a great-niece and many close friends. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Sidney F. Harrell Chapel of Harrell & Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. Forrest H. "Hank" Teague. Interment will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
