SUFFOLK - Howard Thomas ''Moosy'' Copeland, 68, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. 
Mr. Copeland retired as a clerk from Reginald E. Brothers Co. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. 
He was a native of Suffolk and was a member of Suffolk Christian Church and its Young Adult Class. 
Mr. Copeland is survived by two brothers, Randolph T. Copeland and Curtis B. Copeland of Suffolk; and several nieces and nephews. 
The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 tonight in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home. 
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home by the Rev. Bruce A. Havens. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. 
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Nansemond Suffolk Volunteer Rescue Squad, 428 Market St., Suffolk 23434.
