A retired farmer, he was son of the late Livius Drewry Cox Sr. and Lena May Bryant Cox. He was a member of Crossroads Community Church, Branchville, and Woodmen of the World. He is survived by four cousins, Frances Story of Zuni, Doris Evans, Ruby Rivenbark, both of Portsmouth and Catherine Pryer of Chesapeake. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, by the Rev. Jeffrey E. Hollingsworth. Memorial donations may be made to the Boykins Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad.
