Grace Almeter Cross , 76, died Wednesday, July 14, 1993, in Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City. 
Mrs. Cross was born in Suffolk and was formerly of Virginia Beach. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Norfolk. She was the daughter of the late Junius Lemuel and Magdeline Corbitt Babb and the widow of Herbert Ralph Cross . 
She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Clark of Hertford; three sons, Linwood and Raymond Cross of Virginia Beach and Michael Cross of Norfolk; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. 
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a .m. Saturday in Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, Chesapeake, with the Rev. Henry Napier officiating. Burial will be in Holland Cemetery, Holland Substation, Suffolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m., and other times at the home of the son, Raymond Cross , 5132 Langston Road, Virginia Beach.
