Juanita Brown Cross, 59, a retired programs support technician, died Oct. 25, 1991, in her home. 

Mrs. Cross was born in Durham, N.C. She had retired from the Virginia Department of Highways after 31 years. She was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. She was the widow of William G. Cross. 

Survivors include a daughter, Terry A. Bailey of Franklin; four sons, Cecil L. Andrews of Aurora, Colo., T. Ritchie Andrews of Richmond, Joseph R. Andrews of Pottsville, Ark., and G. Dale Andrews of Franklin; her mother, Lillie Mae Brown of Franklin; three sisters, Betty B. Garrison of Charlottesville, Helen B. Joyner of Suffolk and Ruth B. Baker of Ellwood City, Pa.; three brothers, Earl R. Brown of Norfolk and Robert J. Brown and W. Lewis Brown, both of Franklin; and nine grandchildren. 

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. Reginald Warren. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home. 

Memorial donations may be made to the Save the Children Foundation.
