Susie Crowder Lowe, 77, a resident of the 30000 block of Country Club Road, died Friday, May 1, 1998, in her home. 

A native of Newsoms and a member of Hunterdale United Church of Christ, she was the widow of Harry Shelton Lowe and daughter of the late Hayes and Eva Mack Crowder. 

She is survived by a son, Donald Shelton Lowe of Courtland; a daughter, Linda Susan Lowe of Como, N.C.; a brother, Hayes Crowder of Franklin; a sister, Mildred C. Parker of Colosse, Va.; and a granddaughter, Winter Suzanne Cartwright of Elizabeth City, N.C. 

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Hollywood Cemetery , Newsoms , by Dr. Alan R.W. Campbell and the Rev. Kenneth Williams. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to Hunterdale United Church of Christ, 741 Hunterdale Road, Franklin.
