Edna Mae Crumpler, 82, of Burdette Road, died July 22, 1993, in Southampton Memorial Hospital. 
Mrs. Crumpler was the daughter of the late Arp and Hattie Mae Norris Parker and the widow of Herford O. Crumpler. She was a Baptist. 
Survivors include four daughters, Lillian Gunn of Courtland, Beatrice Fowler of Franklin, Mary Lois Warren of Windsor and Irene Bailey of Hampton. She was predeceased by a daughter, Martha Womble of Sedley. She is also survived by three sons, Herford Milton Crumpler, Melvin Lee Crumpler and Marvin Earl Crumpler, all of Burdette; one sister, Rebie Overton of Williamsburg; 19 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. 
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Crumpler Family Cemetery in Sedley by the Rev. Larry Cribb. Friends may join the family at the home of Mickey and Beatrice Fowler, 20244 Sedley Road. Wright Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
