Vida Crutchlow Lee, 85, died Sunday, Aug. 16, 1998, in Courtland Health Care Center.
Mrs. Lee was a native of Southampton County and was the daughter of the late Lorenzo Osmore and Lucy Cobb Crutchlow. She was a member of Boykins Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Simeon Lee; two daughters, Shelva L. Cobb and her husband, Paul, of Drewryville and Joyce L. Andrews and her husband, Donald, of Dinwiddie County; two sisters, Dorothy C. Brown of Goldsboro, N.C. and Sallie C. Hudson of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; six grandchildren, D. Craig Andrews, V. Tod Andrews, J. Dale Andrews, Paula Cobb Day, P.A. ''Lex'' Cobb Jr., Joseph M. Cobb; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, on Tuesday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Benjamin Thomas and the Rev. Charles Alvis. The family will receive at Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Boykins Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
