Virginia L. Darden 

RICHMOND - Virginia Lee Darden, 61, passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, at Henrico Doctors Hospital in Richmond. Miss Darden was born in Franklin, a daughter of the late John Barham and Virginia Presson Darden. She attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk and was a graduate of The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg. She taught school in Virginia and California, and was a Baptist. 

Survivors include a sister, Jane D. White and husband Thomas of Norfolk; two nephews, Leslie D. White of Virginia Beach and John Thomas White of Midlothian; and several cousins, including Jo Anne Kelley of Franklin. 

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at 11 a.m. in Hollywood Cemetery , Newsoms , with the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating.
