Obituary of RAYMOND BRADSHAW DAUGHTREY The Virginian-Pilot (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, October 15, 1994 Raymond Bradshaw Daughtrey, 57, of the 7200 block of Holy Neck Road, died Friday, Oct. 14, 1994, in Southampton Memorial Hospital. Mr. Daughtrey was a lifelong resident of Nansemond County and was the son of the late Charlie Exum and Effie Bradshaw Daughtrey. He had retired from farming because of declining health. He was a member of South Quay Baptist Church, Bell-Cranks R.C Flying Club, Holland Hunt Club and an honorary lifetime member of the Hampton Roads R.C. Flying Club. He had served in the National Guard. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Coggsdale Daughtrey; two daughters, Lisa D. Pearce and her husband, Kevin, of Denton, Texas, and Delores D. Bulls and her husband, Willie, of Sedley; a brother, Charlie Clifton Daughtrey Sr. of Suffolk; and a grandson, Jacob Scott Bulls. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. E. Cecil Smith officiating. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park . The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and suggest memorial donations be made to the Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad or the American Diabetes Association, 101 W.
