Myrl Sykes Davidson, 72, of the 200 block of Sycamore Road, died Feb. 6, 1991, in a hospital. 

Mrs. Davidson, a native of Duplin County, N.C., was the widow of Wilford I. Davidson. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include two daughters, Nancy D. Longoria of Fayetteville, N.C., and Patricia D. Hatfield of Franklin; a sister, Dora Mae Lynn of Franklin; five brothers, Edwards Sykes of Courtland, and C.J. Sykes, Buddy Sykes, Norwood Sykes and Tommy Sykes, all of Franklin; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. John Siegle and the Rev. Wayne Underwood. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Friends may join the family at 209 Sycamore Road.
