Miss Dodson was an editorial assistant. She was a member of Franklin Congregational Christian Church. 

Survivors include her mother, Florence G. Dodson of Franklin; and a sister, Diane Dodson of Severna Park, Md. 

The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, by the Rev. Samuel Askew. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is handling arrangements. 

Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
