He was a native of Newsoms and a son of the late Richard and Elsie Saunders Duck. Mr. Duck was a retired carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Nancy S. Duck; daughter, Martha Ann Delfenthal of Smithfield; sisters, Sarah Crawford and husband Del of Suffolk, Clara Ann Crawford and husband Curtis of Portsmouth, Mary Jones and husband Gerald of Greenville, S.C.; a brother, Dickie Duck and wife Connie of Suffolk; and four grandchildren. Visitation was held at the home of Sarah Crawford, 1141 Turner Drive, Suffolk, July 10. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory served the family.
