Obituary of Luther Benjamin Dunlow LUTHER BENJAMIN DUNLOW Virginian Pilot - 05-23-2005 FRANKLIN - Luther Benjamin Dunlow, 85, widower of Ella Underwood Dunlow and retired farmer, died May 22, 2005, at East Pavilion. He was born in Isle of Wight County, a son of the late George Washington and Martha Johnson Dunlow. Mr. Dunlow was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Peggy D. Covington and Betty D. Goldsmith, both of Churchland; a grandson, Thurman Munford, Jr. of Zuni; two sisters, Fannie Buckner of Virginia Beach and Rose Ella Kitchen of Franklin; and his devoted dog, Abby. He was predeceased by three sisters and three brothers, Naomi Turner, Alice Hargrave, Mary Hargrave, and George, James and Emmett Dunlow. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Rob Edwards and the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.
