Adell S. Edmonds, 70, of the 300 block of N. 5th St., died Jan. 24,
2004, in Obici Hospital, Suffolk.

She was a native of Washington, D.C., and the daughter of the late Pearl
Sauls. She retired from the Navy Commissary Store as a procurement
clerk.

Her survivors include two daughters, Ethel Pearl Sauls of Woodbridge
Va., and Raydella E. Anderson of Chesapeake; two grandchildren, James W.
Anderson Jr. and Jennifer R. Anderson; a great-grandchild, Ja Quan
Anderson; and sister-inlaw, Mattie Sauls of Silver Spring, Md.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Holly Lawn
Cemetery, Suffolk. Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk, is handling
arrangements.
