George R. Edwards Jr. 

WINDSOR - George Robert ``Bobby'' Edwards Jr., 64, of the 26000 block of Old Mill Road, died March 10, 2001. 

He was a farmer and a native of Windsor. He was a member of Windsor Christian Church, Windsor, and Myrtle Hunt Club. He was the son of the late George Robert Edwards Sr. 

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Marjorie Edwards; daughters and son-in-law, Karen E. and Henry L. Beale, and Charlene F. Edwards; his mother, Madeline Sandlin Edwards; a son, Randy Harmon; granddaughter, Whitney L. Beale; grandson, Robert P. Beale, all of Windsor; sisters, Barbara E. Duck of Ark, Va., and Ida E. Hollowell of Tyner, N.C.; and a brother, Freddy M. Edwards of Windsor. 

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Windsor Cemetery , Windsor, by the Rev. Basil L. Ballard. Friends may join the family at the residence. 

Contributions may be made to the Special Care Unit at 1900 N. Main St., Suffolk, VA 23434, or to the American Cancer Society, 902 Pennsylvania Ave., Suffolk, VA 23434. Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home is serving the family.
